Frozen Hot Chocolate!

This frosty shake will leave chocolate connoisseurs stunned!

This  velvety smooth creation led us at Why Men Are to search high and low to find the richest chocolate.  We searched so hard, and tasted so much it's no wonder our girdles burst!   Our search finally ended at a Godiva Chocolatier.  Need we say more?

Our guide gave us a tour.  "Of  course" she exclaimed  as she went to the drawer, "our truffles are famous in all of the world".  Truffles we tried. yes truffles and more, until we couldn't  even fit through the door!

There was  Hazelnut Praline, Coconut, Strawberry and Pecan Carmel.   I guess you could say that these flavorful balls are the perfect confection.  Just pop one in your mouth and you will be a goner!

After rolling out of the store we rushed toward the kitchen to test the cocoa. They were each spectacular. The three flavors are Dark Chocolate Truffle, Milk Chocolate and Chocolate Mocha.  Use any flavor you prefer for the Frozen Hot Chocolate.

So you ask, is this better than a frozen yodel?.  You bet your sweet.....tooth it is.

Ingredients:
Whole Milk-4 cups.
Godiva Classic Milk Chocolate Cocoa-12 tablespoons.
Heavy Whipping Cream-2 cups.
Vanilla-1 teaspoon.
Sugar-2 tablespoons.
Milk Chocolate Shavings-2 tablespoons.

Instructions:  Warm the milk in a small pot over a medium flame.  Stir in the cocoa and whisk constantly.  Do not boil.

Remove from the stove and cover with foil.  Let cool for 15 minutes.

Pour the hot cocoa mixture in to ice cube trays or a metal bowl.  Freeze.  Remove the chocolaty mixture from the freezer and allow to soften for approximately 20 minutes.  Drop the slushy cubes or chunks into a blender.  Pulse intermittently until smooth and slightly icy.  You may have to add a little fresh milk to help with the process.  Immediately pour into a large glass bowl.  Top with fresh whipped cream and milk chocolate shavings.  Sink a straw in for everyone at your table.  Sip and enjoy!
